Asset Management
A digital reference image and thermal image is taken for each individual component as well as issuing a unique reference number in the software. To this, the full component name plate data is recorded, enabling quick reference for site location and spares ordering through the asset management software’s search facility.
Visual Inspection
The entire component will be inspected, determining adjustments to be made and to ensure it is operating within its specified limits. Our engineer will identify areas of corrosion, safety hazards and regulation violations throughout their inspection process.
Ultrasonic Testing
Measures sound waves and/or vibrations that are above audible sound (16-18 KHZ). Supplementary to Thermal Imagining, this process discovers arcing, vibrations and tracking if present within the electrical system.
Infrared Technology
Measures and identifies spiking temperatures that exceed the limit for that specific electrical source. High resistance electrical connections, current overload, defective circuit breakers and/or defective insulator conditions. This service is used to reduce the risk of component failure.
Voltage & Current Analysis
Captures Total Harmonic Distortion-Voltage (THDV) and Total Harmonic Distortion-Current (THDC) that exceed IET recommendations. This service determines whether your harmonic distortion is within tolerance levels. This analysis minimises the risk of damage to microelectronic equipment, transformers, circuit breakers, and motors.
Energised & De-energised Maintenance
It is recommended that a Preventative Maintenance Programme is reviewed and carried out regularly, while the electrical distribution system is energised under normal load. This provides a more accurate representation of how the electrical system operates while being used.
